Had a really great time at La Única Restaurant. The food was fresh and full of flavor—loved the chamango, ceviche, and the birria was especially good. Everything we tried felt well made and worth it. What really stood out was our waitress, Nailea. She was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout. Definitely a place I’d come back to! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a great place. From the food, service to atmosphere to even it's social media presence. When I have gone, it's busy with people from all over the world and that is an excellent rapport. I am adding the menu in this post because it's not on the website so go here and enjoy!

Pulled up to this taco spot not expecting much, but it was crazy good. The horchata was great, and the micheladas were awesome. I ordered a torta and it was way bigger than I expected and full of flavor. Rosy was super attentive and made sure we always had what we needed throughout the evening. Definitely coming back

We came here for our first taco experience, and it was amazing — we absolutely loved it. We ordered QUESABIRRIA, 3 tacos served with their special sauce. Definitely a must-try, we really enjoyed it. The spicy sauces were great too — you feel the heat while eating, but your mouth never actually burns. After that, we also tried single tacos: Asada and Chicken. We didn’t add cilantro because we don’t like it, so it was just the meat. For dessert, we had Pastel 3 Leches, and we chose the fruity version — there were other options as well. Everything was really wonderful. If it’s your first time trying tacos, you must come here!

I recently had the most incredible experience enjoying one of the most delicious molcajetes in Toronto—rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Every bite truly felt authentic, like being in Mexico. To make it even better, we tried their cantarito and conga drinks, and they were absolutely refreshing and full of vibrant taste—perfectly complementing the meal. What really elevated the experience was the excellent service from Rossy. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Her friendly energy added a special touch to the whole dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

La Única Restaurant delivers an authentic and satisfying Mexican dining experience, with several standout dishes that make it well worth a visit. My wife and I visited during the UEFA Champions League final, which was being shown on the restaurant's televisions. While the lively atmosphere may appeal to soccer fans, the audio volume was exceptionally loud and somewhat detracted from the overall dining experience. Upon arrival, our server informed us that the lunch menu was no longer available after noon. Although this was disappointing, we proceeded to order from the regular menu and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We began with the choriqueso, a generously portioned appetizer rich in flavor and perfect for sharing. However, it was served with only four small flour tortillas, which proved insufficient for the size of the dish. We requested an additional order of tortillas, but they arrived after our entrées had already been served. For our main courses, we ordered the Torta Cubana and the carne asada sopes. The Torta Cubana was enormous, packed with flavor, and exceptionally satisfying. The carne asada sopes were equally impressive—well-portioned, beautifully prepared, and bursting with authentic flavors. My wife also enjoyed a horchata, which was refreshing, well-balanced, and one of the highlights of the meal. Service was the weakest aspect of our visit. While our server was courteous upon greeting us, table attention throughout the meal was minimal, with few check-ins to ensure everything was satisfactory. Despite the service shortcomings and the excessive volume of the soccer broadcast, the quality of the food more than compensated. La Única serves delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine with generous portions and excellent value. We look forward to returning to explore their lunch offerings and sample more dishes from the menu.

This place was amazing! We came here for the tacos and it didn’t disappoint. My mouth was drooling from the pork belly with guacamole. They were crispy and I used some of the sauces from the chips tray over the pork belly and guac. Honestly we didn’t even need the side because the taco portion was huge! The birria tacos were so flavourful. I could only eat two because they were huge! The drinks were very sour, I got a margarita. Next time just going with a pop! I was so full by the end. The service was good for a full house. FIFA was on! They also had a live singer. I was super impressed by this place. I will definitely be back! Super delicious

Had an amazing dinner here, the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Generous portions and amazing price too. Our server, Naylea was so lovely she made our meal even better. Would definitely come back again soon !
